She was born in Harrisburg on May 22, 1963, to the late Clara Lee (Tonking) and Robert Moore.
Susan survived by her sons, Seth (Shannon) and Todd; brother, Thomas Moore (Carol); 3 Grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah, and Alyssa.
Susan graduated from Grove City College in 1985 with her bachelor’s degree in accounting. Susan was a certified public accountant (CPA) for many years and was known as a dedicated worker. She finished her working career as the Controller at Central Penn College for 9 years.
During her life, Susan was a vibrant and joyful person. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family, traveling across the country for vacation, attending cooking classes, shopping, decorating her house with each holiday, sitting by her backyard fishpond, and drinking wine.
She enjoyed laughing and spending time with her sons and her grandchildren. She was known by the name “Cookie” to her grandchildren. Susan was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, and she fought a courageous battle with a positive attitude and many laughs until the end.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 18th, 2025 at 12:00pm at Christ Presbyterian Church, 421 Deerfield Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A time for gathering will take place from 11:00am to 12:00pm prior to the celebration of life.
