He was born April 26, 1942 in Harrisburg son of Dr. Emerson Floyd Fackler and Margaret Fay (Mumma) Fackler.
He was a proud graduate of Camp Hill High School and The Pennsylvania State University. Blue and white, and a lion, through and through.
Prior to retirement, he was self-employed and owned SpectraComp, Inc. and Batsch Company. He and his wife also owned Emerson, Egervary and Associates.
An avid golfer, Terry was a member of West Shore Country Club, Carlisle Country Club and Harrisburg Country Club at different times throughout his life. He also enjoyed hunting, boating, playing poker and was always up for doing something fun. Motorcycles and fast cars were a big part of his life. But more than anything, he loved spending time doing these things with his friends and family, the people he loved.
In addition to his mother, Margaret Fay Fackler, he is survived by his wife, Marietta E. Egervary, and children: Jeff Fackler and his wife LeeAnn Fackler, Shari (Fackler) Capriola and her husband Mike Capriola. He was so proud of his four granddaughters: Kristin & Paige Fackler and Dani & Niki Capriola. He also leaves behind his brother Kim Fackler and wife Ann Fackler, as well as sister Valerie (Fackler) Gsell and husband Carl Gsell, and two nephews, Justin Fackler and Adam Gsell and a niece Jodi (Gsell) Fruwirth.
