She was born in Boston, MA to the late Ellton F. and Winnifred (Butler) Staples.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her sister Jeanne F. Clougherty, her nephew Todd S. Hartigan, and her great-nephew Sean Kedzior.
She leaves behind her loving family, husband Joseph M. Condon of Mechanicsburg PA, daughters Megan Jones of Mechanicsburg, PA, Tara Deane (Kevin) of Mechanicsburg, PA and Alyssa Deardorff (Jeremiah) of Shiremanstown, PA. Her six grandchildren that she loved and adored; Athena Jones, Manning Jones, Aiden Deane, Avery Deane, Myles Deardorff and Rowan Deardorff as well as her sister Joy Staples and several nieces and nephews.
Cheryl graduated from Mount Alvernia Academy, Newton MA and Chamberlayne Jr College, Boston MA. She served her country as a Marine Corps wife for twenty years. Moving many times while setting up homes and raising her daughters in different parts of our country. In 2013 she retired from the Fredricksen Library as the lending services manager, a job that she enjoyed for several years. Prior to the library she was a retail manager and prior to her marriage was the coat buyer for eight department stores in the NY, CT and MA area. She enjoyed going to the beach, cooking, baking, reading, and above all else spending time with her beloved family.
A visitation will be held on Thursday February 2, 2023 from 9:30-10:30 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church; 3435 E Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am. Burial will follow immediately after at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery; Annville, PA.
