

Left behind are Cathy, the love of his life and wife of 55 years, son Shane, daughter Tracey (Terry), grandsons Brady and Clayton (Ellen), and great grandson Tolson.
Brian is also survived by his brothers, Gary (Gayle), Bob (Roxanne), and sister Sherri (Rand). Brian was predeceased by his father Henry, mother Irene, and brother David.
Brian was born in Matlock, Derby, England on October 7th, 1945, and grew up in Cumberland, B.C. After graduating high school, Brian attended BCIT before beginning his career in instrumentation, along with various supervisory positions at the Gold River Pulp Mill.
The most important part of Brian’s life was his family, and his beloved dogs Lucy, and Ari, aka Swiffer. He loved sports including basketball, fastball, hockey, pickleball, horseshoes,“geezers” and Yuma golf. Brian was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing and hunting with family members and friends. Brian developed strong relationships and had many close friends on Vancouver Island and in Yuma, Arizona where Brian and Cathy wintered for many years. He valued his friendships and memories made.
The family would like to say thank you for all of the love and support they have been given.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2024.
