

Dale was born in Chilliwack, BC to Charles and Gladys Dickie and grew up in Heffley Creek, BC.
Dale started his career of becoming a log loader operator, in his early 20’s working in the interior, northern BC and on Vancouver Island. Dale made many friends throughout his life and will be remembered for his quick wit, one liner jokes, his smile and his laugh.
Dale enjoyed fishing, quadding and gardening. One of Dale’s greatest vacations was traveling on cruise ships.
Dale was predeceased by his parents Charles and Gladys Dickie, his brother Garth, sister in law Yvonne, father in law Levi and mother in law Margaret, brothers in laws Bill, David and Stephen.
Dale is survived by his loving wife and soulmate Debbie, brother Terry (Thelma) Dickie, brother in law Rick Rhynolds (Michael), sister in law Carol (Dan) Buis, daughters Michelle (Dean) Hartley, Colleen Dickie, Jeanette (Greg) Lock, Leanne (Neal) Lewis & Christine Cote, 7 beloved grandchildren, twin great-granddaughters, numerous nieces, nephews and cherished close friends.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Nelson, Dr. Kask and all of the wonderful nurses on ward 3A in Campbell River Hospital for the exceptional care given to our beloved Dale.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday June 20, 2026 at the Eagles Hall in Campbell River, BC at 2:00 pm.
