Edward Richard Ness

Ed Died with Dignity from his struggle with lung cancer. He was able to spend his final hours with his wife Gloria Ness, his daughter Tracy Overman and granddaughter Morgann McManus as well as sister Elaine Doyle, nieces Marleen Chamberlain, Victoria Shepherd and a few of his brother and sisters in law and some of his dearest friends. He regretted that he couldn't have more dear ones join him in his final day(s) but time and space was limited.

He was receiving messages and phone calls from all over the world in the days and hours leading up to his medically assisted passing He was assessed by four doctors who approved this procedure and he was so grateful that he was still in control of his life to his last breath. His final words were, “This is Perfect”. Ed will be buried with his deceased son Jim in Campbell River. Ed was a father figure to: Marc Overman (deceased) Sherman Overman, Tracy Overman and Steven and Shelby and Mark Haight, as well as Aelia McCune and Connie Law.

A service is being held Friday, June 9 at 11:00 am at Suttons Funeral Home in Campbell River
