With heavy hearts, we share that Jay Morgan passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on November 11, 1967, in Saskatoon, Jay lived a good, honest life filled with laughter, loyalty, and he was the kind of man people could count on.
Jay was the proud son of Gail and Graham, who sparked his love for the outdoors early on. His best days were spent fishing, hunting, or travelling with Brenda by his side. If it involved a boat, a rod, a
quad, Jay was already halfway out the door with the truck running.
He was a solid guy through and through—the one you wanted beside you when things mattered. Jay said what he meant, meant what he said, and delivered it all with a sense of humour.
Jay leaves behind his wife Brenda, who he loved with everything he
had, along with his kids, Bryce (Brooke) and Caitlin (Taylor). He also leaves his stepkids Latissia, Nico, and Haven—his second family—who welcomed him in and claimed him as one of their own. He was also a proud grandpa to ten grandkids who lit up his world and passed down all the important lessons they will need in life.
He is survived by his mom Gail and dad Graham, his sister Susan
(Chris), a big extended family, and more friends than he ever would’ve admitted to having.
Jay had a special place in the marine world, where he will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
Jay will be forever missed and forever remembered—on the water, in the stories we share, and in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to have known him.
