INGA HANSEN
After a long, full life, Inga passed away shortly after her 103rd birthday. Born in Denmark, she immigrated to Canada in 1956 with her husband, Svend, and three children: Axel, Bert, and Susy. Her youngest, Lisa, was born in Campbell River, where Inga enjoyed raising her family and participating in many sports, including sailing, skiing, tennis, badminton, and swimming. An accomplished seamstress, she was also the quintessential “do‑it‑yourselfer,” skilled in knitting, crochet, embroidery, and—her favourite—baking Danish pastries. She had a wonderful sense of humour and greeted everyone with a smile. Inga will be
