Ken grew up in Maple Ridge where he met and married his wife, Barb, of 55 years. They started their family there and Ken began his successful career at Canada Post which took the family around the province including Fort St. John, Victoria and Duncan. Retirement took Ken to Campbell River. Over the past 20 years he enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and driving his little red Miata. Ken and Barb also enjoyed spending many years wintering in Puerto Vallarta with their dear friends. Ken was a 41 year friend of Bill W.
Ken is survived by his wife and best friend, Barb; his son David and daughter-in-law Robyn; grandchildren Jack, Cohen, Dean and Grace; daughters Christine and Lesley; granddaughter, Harper; sister Bev and brother-in-law Gary.
Barb would like to express her gratitude to the Campbell River first responders for their compassion and care.
Ken will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Canada https://cysticfibrosis.ca/in-honour-and-in-memory-gifts
or the Terry Fox Foundation https://terryfox.org/ in memory of Ken.
