Richard Edwin Parrish ( Dewey) passed away peacefully on August 22, 2022 in Campbell River. Richard is survived by his loving Mother Iris, Sister Lynda, Brother David ( Kathy) and predeceased by his Father Roy. Missed beyond words by his Nephews Lon & James and many friends near & far. Richard is well known for his younger years hand logging and fishing, his stories brought us all laughter as he recalled the memories with us. Richard was a longtime resident of Yucalta Lodge and formed many special friendships with staff and residents alike. Bless all for the kindness you expressed for Rick as he was known to most of you. Dewey touched many hearts and his laughter will echo on forever. It matters not how long a star shines, what is remembered is the brightness of the light.
