Adeline Martin

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Monday, February 22, 2010 at the age of 74, passed away Mrs. Adeline Martin of Atholville, wife of Mr. Benoit J. Martin and late Alfred Lagacé. Born in Atholville, she was the daughter of the late Victor Doiron and late Marie Rose Hilda Martin.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Benoit J. Martin of Atholville; her children: Rachel Maltais (Regis) of Tide Head, Nathalie Levesque (David) of Atholville, Rene Martin of Atholville and Josee LeBlanc (Serge) of Dalhousie; her grandchildren: Patrick, Melanie, Jean-Mathieu, Myriam-Isabel, Karine-Emilie, Maryska and Megan; her great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Emily and Kaleb; her sisters and her brother: Hectorine Rusk (Tommy) of Toronto, Therese Mercier (Donald) of Campbellton, Noella Martin of Atholville, Regina Boudreau (Jean-Paul) of Campbellton, Rejeanne Blanchard (Wallace) of Dalhousie et Rene Doiron (Amanda) of Campbellton. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.

She was predeceased by her daughter Brigitte, her sister Rina and her brothers: Leo and Roland.

The funeral mass was held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in the Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Atholville and officiated by Father Romeo Morrison with burial in the parish cemetery later in the spring. A donation to the Tree of Hope Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
