Berthelie Dubois

Née à Val-Brillant, Qc, le 6 décembre 1931, elle était la fille de feu Émile D’Amours et de feu Diana Hallé

Surnommée « Madame Avon », elle était bien connue dans la région pour sa vente de produits Avon pendant de nombreuses années. Elle aimait bien faire du bénévolat pour différentes causes ainsi que voyager et visiter en groupes organisés. Plusieurs se souviendront aussi de ses sucreries qu’elle aimait si bien préparer et que tous adoraient. Pendant ses années au Foyer de soins le Village, elle fut surnommée « la chanteuse ».

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Denis (Ginette), Linda (Bill), Suzanne (Doug) et Lise (Gérald), ses petits-enfants; Steve, Eric, Sophie-Anne, Roxanne, Shawn Dubois, Denis, Jason, Jean-François, Shawn Mann, Julie et Vanessa, et ses 15 arrières-petits-enfants.

Elle laisse aussi dans le deuil ses frères Benoît et Ghislain ainsi que ses sœurs Noëlla, Louisette, Jocelyne et Nicole.

Elle est partie rejoindre ceux et celles qui l’ont précédé, son Fils Mario et sa petite-fille Myska ainsi que ses frères et sœurs; Lauréat, Fernand, George, Gérard, Léo, Sylvio, Oliva, Marthe, Jacqueline et Fernande.

La famille désire remercier très sincèrement les membres du personnel au Foyer de Soins le Village de Campbellton pour les excellents soins qu’elle a reçu tout au long de son séjour, ainsi qu’un merci spécial à Dre Yacoub pour ses soins attentionner.

Respectant les souhaits de la famille, il n’y aura pas de funérailles et pas de visites au salon funéraire.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Berthelie Dubois (D’Amours), who died at the Campbellton Village Care Home at the age of 93, following a long illness.

Born in Val-Brillant, Quebec, on December 6, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Émile D’Amours and the late Diana Hallé.

Nicknamed “Madame Avon,” she was well known in the region for selling Avon products for many years. She enjoyed volunteering for various causes as well as traveling and visiting in organized groups. Many will also remember the sweets she loved to bake, which everyone adored. During her years at the Village nursing home, she was nicknamed “the singer.”

She is survived by her children, Denis (Ginette), Linda (Bill), Suzanne (Doug), and Lise (Gérald); her grandchildren Steve, Eric, Sophie-Anne, Roxanne, Shawn Dubois, Denis, Jason, Jean-François, Shawn Mann, Julie, and Vanessa, and her 15 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brothers Benoît and Ghislain and her sisters Noëlla, Louisette, Jocelyne, and Nicole.

She has gone to join those who preceded her: her son Mario and her great-grand-daughter Myska, as well as her brothers and sisters Lauréat, Fernand, George, Gérard, Léo, Sylvio, Oliva, Marthe, Jacqueline, and Fernande.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Campbellton nursing home for the excellent care she received throughout her stay.

And a special thank you to Dre Yacoub for her special attention to our mother.

In accordance with the family's wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation at the funeral home.
