Besides his parents, he will be sadly missed by his brother and sisters: Garry of Brampton, Lisa (Bruce Buchanan) of Bathurst and Hilda (Arthur Leclair) of Eel River Crossing; his nephews: Scott Lavallée (Vanessa) and their daughter Alexia, Shawn Lavallée, Richard Diotte, Kevin Doucet and his daughter Emma and Ryan Diotte also by many cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his brother Richard.
The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, April 21st at 4 pm in the Holy Trinity Church, Eel River Crossing. Derek James will rest at Savoie Parlor situated at 10 d’Église St., Eel River Crossing on Thursday from 3 pm till time of funeral. A donation to the Tree of Hope Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
