Elizabeth Bernard

At the Cambpellton Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at the age of 84, passed away Elizabeth Bernard of St-Arthur, wife 1st wedding of late Amédée Thibeault and 2nd wedding of late James Bernard. She was the daughter of late Joseph Lagacé and late Régina Savoie.

She will be missed by her children: Romuald Thibeault (Georgette) of St-Arthur, Roméo Thibeault (Patricia) of St-Arthur, Roger Thibeault (Adrienne) of St-Arthur, Amédée Thibeault (Réjeanne) of St-Arthur, Jean-Guy Bernard (Francine) of Campbellton, Denise Bernard (Michel Loiselle) of St-Arthur, Michel Bernard of St-Arthur, Claude Bernard (Diane) of St-Arthur and Réjean Bernard (Marie) of Campbellton; her 20 grandchildren and her 15 great-grandchildren; her brother Alonzo Lagacé (Marie-Paule) of McKendrick and her sister Nellée Bernard of Dieppe. Many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends will also miss her.

She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Amédée Thibeault and her 2nd husband James Bernard, her parents and many sisters and brothers.

Funeral mass was held Monday, March 17, 2008 at the Our Lady of Fatima Church, St-Arthur and celebrated by Father Émile Godin with burial in the parish cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers were Marco Thibeault, Rino Raymond, Rémi Thibeault, Yves Bernard, Eric Thibeault and Jacques Thibeault.
