At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on November 4, 2007, passed away at the age of 98 years, Ernest Savoie of Dundee, husband of late Claudia Francoeur. He was the son of the late Lazare and late Edith Savoie.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters: Emelia Savoie (Lawrence) of Toronto, Theresa Bernier (late Peter) of Toronto, Ernestine Savoie of Toronto, Marie-Rose Savoie (Donald) of Toronto and Genevieve Savoie of Dundee; his sons: Walter (late Marianne) of Dundee, Robert of Dundee, Ludger (Carol) of Niagara Falls, Yvon of Dundee, Fernand (Kathy) of Toronto and Ronald (Olive) of Burlington, Ont.; his 42 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren; his sisters: Helene Benwell of Campbellton and Edith Theriault of Campbellton. Many friends will also miss him.
He was predeceased by his wife, Claudia, his children: John, Joseph, Henri-Paul and Yvonne; and by many sisters and brothers.
The funeral mass was held Friday, November 9, 2007 in the St-Jean-Marie-Vianney church, Dundee, and officiated by Father Regent Landry with burial in the parish cemetery.
