Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 86, passed away Mr. Jean Poirier of the Dalhousie Nursing Home and formerly of Balmoral. He was the son of the late Rosanne (born Savoie) and the late Fidèle Poirier.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Ghislaine (born Dumas); his children: Sylvain (Lucette) of Robertville, Linda of Carleton-sur-Mer, Lise (Lloyd) of Dalhousie and Liette of Laval; his grandchildren: Éric, Mélissa, Allain, Patrick, Jean-François and Danica; his great grandchildren: Kodey, Kailey, Leslie, Xavier and Thomas; his brother Edmond also by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sisters and brothers: Évangéline, Benoit, May, Lionel, Yvonne, Lina and Donat.
The funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 7th, 2018 at 4pm in the St. Benoit Church, Balmoral. Mr. Jean Poirier will rest at Savoie Parlor, situated at 10 Church St., Eel River Crossing on Monday afternoon from 2 till time of funeral.
