Saturday, October 18th at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 84, passed away Mrs. Rose A. Bernard of Eel River Crossing, spouse of Mr. Alvin Bernard. She was the daughter of the late Rose-Anne (Letourneau) and late Alexandre Maltais.
Besides her husband she will be sadly missed by her children : Guyta (Roger Allard) of Dieppe, Isabelle (Joel Savoie) of Eel River Crossing, Claudine (Robert Arseneault) of Eel River Crossing, Malvin (Ann Main) of Eel River Crossing, Jean-Claude (Martha Carcy) of Bathurst and Luc (Sylvie Levesque) of Eel River Crossing; her 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; her sister and brothers :Corinne (Edgar Essiembre) of Eel River Crossing, Clifford Maltais (Jeannine Lurette) of Val d’Amour, Lorenzo Maltais (Donalda Lurette) of Val d’Amour and Theo (Marie Parker) of Petit-Rocher also by many members of the Bernard family, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters and brothers: Mabel, Victoria, Fabien, Leo, Sylvio, Romeo, Marie-Reine and Jean.
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday morning, October 25 at 11 am. A donation to the Tree of Hope Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
