Alex is Gone,
We can shed tears because he is gone,
Or we can smile because he has lived.
We can close our eyes to hope and pray that he could be here,
Or we can open our eyes and see all the love he left us with.
Our hearts can feel empty because we can't see him,
Or we can appreciate all of the love and happy memories that we have shared.
We can turn our back on tomorrow and live in our yesterdays,
Or we can celebrate and enjoy our tomorrows because of him.
We can think of him and sadly remember that he is gone,

It is difficult to know that you will no longer hear his voice or see his kind smile. In time, the diffilculties are eased with the knowledge that he had a life filled with laughter and love. He leaves behind so many who are grateful to have had him in their lives. 

Mary, it was always wonderful to be around the two of you and see the evidence of the love you shared. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Grandpa, words could never express how I feel. There are very few things that I cherish. My kids, my family and childhood memories, all of which you are a major part of. I remember, fishing with you was the highlight of my life. Even though you used to get mad at me when I made a fishing pole out of a stick, or caught more fish than you... I realize now, that you planted a seed of a great man. I am so greatful for that,and will never forget it. And, I promise to do the same. I named my son after you, cause I want him to be be a good man just as you are. He's a great fisherman, you would be proud. So I know, you will live on forever through me, my sons,and their sons to come.... 
      You once told me that SUNIGA meant good people. I vow to uphold that to my best ability. And I will pass on to the generations to come. Thank you Grandpa, for all that you've done for all of us. Thank you being a role model of a righteous man in my life.I'm sorry my father couldn't be here, but I'm sure he feels the same... Alex aka.. Grandpa, I'm glad I met you. Everyone is going to miss you and think about you on a daily basis. I'm glad I was able to see you in the hospital the day you passed away, but I wish I would have went sooner so I could have talked to you and so you could of seen me. Im going to miss you. Thank you for being supportive when we were going through hard times. Also I'm going to miss the stories you told me about your experiences in your life. You where hard working, funny, and gave good tips on fishing.
