Peacefully passed away after a short illness on August 11, 2012.
Resident of Los Angeles his entire life including the last sixty years in Encino and Tarzana. Served in the US Navy 1944 - 1946
including duty on the carrier USS Hancock. Graduate of Art Center College of Design and former president of the Alumni Association. Former president and partner of Emerson/Johnson/Mackay Industrial Design, Inc. where he retired after 40 years as an accomplished industrial designer.
Preceded in death by parents Denton and Jeannette Johnson and first wife, Marilyn Johnson. Survived by devoted wife Sally Johnson and loving father of Lori Millunchick, Mark Johnson, Scott Johnson and Julie Johnson. Also survived by brother, Dr. Brian Johnson and six grandchildren.
He will be missed deeply and always.
