Cinda Lou Gennaro

February 1, 1953 – February 16, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cinda Lou Gennaro, age 72, of Canoga Park, California, who left this world on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Cinda was born on February 1, 1953, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to Robert and Margaret Bloser.

Cinda grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from East Pennsboro High School in 1971. She followed her passion for helping others by pursuing a nursing degree at the Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing, earning her Registered Nurse certification in 1974. She dedicated forty-eight years of her life to home health care, providing compassionate support to countless individuals and families.

During her time in Harrisburg, Cinda met the love of her life, Tony Gennaro. They married in August 1974 and went on to share over fifty years of wedded bliss. Cinda is survived by her beloved husband, Tony Gennaro, who stood by her side through a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Beyond her professional achievements, Cinda was a devoted mother to Tony, Joey, and Maria and a cherished grandmother to Raylee, Joey, Casey, Laney, Joey, Tristin, and Bleu. She found immense joy in supporting her children and grandchildren, rarely missing a baseball game, softball tournament, equestrian event, or any other sport they loved. Her unwavering love and enthusiasm for her family’s passions created countless cherished memories.

Cinda's kindness, dedication, and love for her family and community will never be forgotten. Her warmth, wisdom, and selfless spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral mass in her honor will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 19855 Sherman Way, Winnetka, CA 91306.
