Danny (Daniel) was born in Los Angeles to Demetrio and Raquel Garcia. He is survived by his 3 siblings Anthony, Alma and David, as well as his Step Father Paul Looney.
Danny graduated from Hugh’s Jr High School. He moved overseas to Belgium where he attended The International School of Brussels. Upon returning to California he continued his education at Canoga Park High School where he graduated. After graduation he attended Pierce Community College and later transferred to Cal State Northridge.
He played football, basketball and baseball. He loved to golf and go to the gym. He was a huge Dodger fan. He rooted for all LA teams.
He worked in retail for over 30 years. He traveled while working for Sketchers and Journey’s. His travels lead him to Hawaii where he fell in love with the state and lived for over 5 years.
Danny was a kind, loving generous and sympathetic person. He loved to talk not only to family but to everyone he met. He had an amazing sense of humor.
Danny loved his family. Although he had no children of his own he loved his nephews and nieces as his children.
Danny is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
