On Feb. 23, 1959, Diana Cruz Vargas was brought into this world. She was born and raised in Canoga Park. Diana attended local schools, Hart St., Sutter & Canoga. In Jr. High, she was voted best dressed and was very proud of her title. She was the type of person to help others. Even Though she struggled to take care of her six children, she still managed to feed and welcome everyone in her home. She loved to cook and clean and listen to her oldies. She loved to walk. She also loved to have BBQ's every Sunday with her family and friends. She is survived by her six children: Michele, Ruben, Victoria, Yolanda, Ricky & Brandon. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren: Ariana, Danica, Ruben, Damian, Logan, Luis and Nevaeh. She is also survived by her husband Richard.Diana is now resting with the people she missed and loved dearly: her parents, two sisters, a niece and a nephew. She passed away on Sept 13, 2011. Diana always wanted to be remembered as "The Last Queen of Canoga Park".
