ISABEL was born on August 19, 1952 to Josefina Natalia Garcia Vigil and Luis Gerardo Tipacti Rios in Lima, Peru. After graduating from Isabel La Catolica, she went on to study Trade. After graduation, she landed her first job as a receptionist for Minero Peru. Her ambitious desire and thirst to experience life to the fullest led her to many experiences. In 1970, she met Enrique Alberto Saal Herrera, and they wed in 1971, going on to have a daughter, Rosalia Elizabeth (Liz) Saal (de Casas).
When ISABEL had Liz, she decided to dedicate her life to offering her daughter the best of all worlds. She excelled in many things, including tennis. Her talent offered an opportunity to play tennis on a professional level, which included a tour in Spain wherein she later made Barcelona their home. Unfortunately, due to a back injury, she was forced to reassess her life goals. ISABEL was strikingly beautiful and her effervescent nature created her opportunities of being at the right place, at the right time; which then led her to an opportunity of a lucrative modeling career and touring Europe. ISABEL was raised with deep roots. As the sixth child of nine siblings, the idea of "Family First" was deeply embedded in the strong love and connection with her mother and siblings. Spain was a great adventure, but the distance she felt being apart from her mother and siblings gave her introspective wherein she understood that the deep belly fire was often fed by those whom she cared for deeply.
Bestowed the gift of having great family values, she understood love was the core of her decision to take her accomplishments and wealth and join her older sister Rosalia (whom she loved so much, she named her firstborn after) and migrated to the United States. Wherein ISABEL was humbled to embark on the journey of being an immigrant and building herself back up again to a life she was accustomed to living. Burbank, California was where she laid her roots. Slowly but surely, each one of her siblings began to migrate to all parts of the San Fernando Valley. It was through her brother Luis, wherein she met her second husband, Carlos Manuel Mendoza, and they wed in 1981, going on to have a second daughter, Melissa Mendoza (D'Amico). ISABEL, is a self-made woman, who excelled at propping up her mother and eight (8) siblings: Luisa, Rosalia, Sara, Lucia, Luis, Laura, Claudio, and Erika through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. One of her many gifts was her deep spirituality.
She made it her mission to improve the lives of others and began GA Enterprises wherein she was an entrepreneur. In her early 50s, she was a columnist for a local newspaper called "La Actualidad" wherein she wrote a monthly column entitled "El Rincon del Alma" to express and share her sage wisdom. ISABEL was a passionate businesswoman and when she wasn’t filling her home with crystals, practicing the art of feng shui, watching her 'novelas' or spending time with her family she could be found in all parts of the world, exploring the gifts of mother earth, practicing holistic medicine and through her gifts helping others in the best way she knew how. We will miss her greatly.
