Raised in Pasadena, Jan was an L.A. area resident her whole life. She is survived by her daughter Lisa, son Tracy, daughters-in-law Linda and Beth, grandchildren Maxx, Aidan, Leonis, Lucas, Sarah, Iris and Jissela, great-grandchildren Joshua, Becany and Cadey, and extended family and friends too numerous to mention. All of us will miss her deeply. Jan loved many generations of West Valley kids while teaching them reading, and anything else they needed at Serrania Ave Elementary. She also enjoyed many years working at the Bank of America as a teller. She treasured the friendships she had through the bank.
Another big love in her life were animals. From her own beloved cats and dogs (and everyone else's) to any and all other wildlife who were lucky enough to cross her path.
