My husband, Andrew Pallos, and I knew Joe from UCLA dental school from 1978-1982. At the time, he was single, and we often had him in our home for meals at UCLA Married Student Housing. Joe felt like family. Always upbeat, kind, and talkative. He shared with us about this young woman, Laurel, that he'd met and was dating. He talked to us about marrying her. And he did! Over the years, my husband and Joe saw each other at the annual CDA  dental convention in Anaheim. We also exchanged Christmas cards and pictures of family annually. Joe will always have a special place in our hearts.  No one can replace him. Our deepest condolences to Laurel, the children, and grandchildren. We all loved Joseph Dautremont.

Dr. Joe was our dentist for more than 20 years. He made our visits surprisingly pleasant, as he seemed to be in a perennially sunny mood, loved to chat about a variety of topics, and enjoyed sharing bits of his vast knowledge about his profession. He always treated us with patience and kindness. We missed him greatly when he stopped his private practice, and we are now very saddened to hear of his passing. May his family know that to us he was both a really talented dentist and a delightful person to know.

My condolences to the family. Dr Dautremont was one of the best faculty I have learned from at UCLA. He was funny, and made dentistry exciting. Every patient loved him. I can honestly say he’s made me a better dentist. He will be dearly missed.

Our condolences to the Dautremont family. We have fond memories of Joe coaching our son in baseball many years ago, and Jim recalls enjoying pick up basketball games with him at Knapp Ranch Park.  Our prayers are with you at this difficult time.

To each member of Joe's family. Our heartfelt condolences. We, who were privileged to have known Joe within St B's community. Will be forever grateful for his time and efforts as a volunteer, contributor and leader throughout the many groups and outings Joe diligently and gladfully participated in. 
 No shortage of performance or achievement in the realm of care to his patients and the morale of his associates. Throughout his time in practice of dentistry here in the West Valley.
 Godspeed old friend. And may the love you nurtured unto others continue. So grateful.
