Marcie Diane Lazio

Marcie was born on May 18, 1931 in Santa Monica, CA to Warren and Madeleine (Amyrauld) Howard. Marcie attended Mt Vernon Junior High School where she met many of her lifelong friends, and in 1949 went to graduate from Los Angeles High School. She married the love of her life, Louis (Louie) Lazio on December 31, 1952.

In 1965, after several moves, Marcie and Louie moved to Canoga Park (now West Hills) where they raised their son Frank and two daughters Cindy and Christine.

Marcie's greatest joy in life was to spend time with her family and friends.Marcie and her friends played a weekley golf game that was always followed by lunch. In addition to their weekly golf game, Marcie and her friends regularly attended events hosted by several community based organizations such as the Laurel Garden Club, Woodland Hills Woman's Club, Canoga-Owensmouth Historical Society, St Anne'e Family Services, The Motion Picture and Television Fund, and volunteered at at the Madrid Theater for years. Marcie was known for hosting an annual Christmas Party as well as and annual New Year's Eve Party, which served a dual purpose - it enabled her and Louie tp celebrate their Wedding Anniversary with their loved ones.

For years Marcie attended weekly Bible study classes and was an active member of The United Methodist Church of Westlake Village. Her faith in God was always paramount.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Madeleine: her husband, Louie: son, Frank; sisters Lorraine Plumb and Claudette Clementi; and most if her life-long friends.

She is survived by her two daughters Cindy Scates and Christine Lazio; six grandchildren, Jeffery Lazio, Kelly Ramos, Michael Scates, Scott Scates(Britany), Brian Scates and Katiel Brutinel (Daniel); 13 great-grandchildren, Hannah Davis, Emma Wilson, Brayden Scates, Harper Scates, Blake Ramos, Sawyer Scates, Berkley Scates, Landen Scates, Olivia Brutinel, Peyton Scates, Henry Brutinel, Haillie Brutinel, Owen Brutinel and one great-great- grandchildren , Maeve Wilson.
