Sandra Kay Nesbitt

She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Daughter of the late Frank and Martha (Cherry) Krawczak, Sandy was born in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to William E. Nesbitt, her loving husband of 52 years, on July 10, 1971. He predeceased her March 3, 2023.

Sandy was an elementary school teacher, most recently at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in Encino, California for 20 years. She was a member of St. Bernardine of Siena Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter and family, Erica and Brad Berberian, Laguna Beach, California; three granddaughters, Ella, Kate and Riley Berberian, Laguna Beach, California; her sister-in-law, Doris Krawczak, Elk Grove, California; several nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by her three brothers and three sisters, Frank Krawczak, Clare Krawczak, Delores Tlalka, Vina Barnese, Joan Kuligowski and Norm Krawczak.

A private funeral service attended by her daughter and family took place on April 15, 2026 at St. Bernardine of Siena Catholic Church, Woodland Hills, California followed by a private burial at Oakwood Memorial Park, Chatsworth, California. A Celebration of Life will be held for all of Sandy’s friends and family to attend on May 23, 2026 at 2pm at her home.
