Adele was born in New York City on January 4, 1925 and grew up in Brooklyn. Upon marrying, she moved to Manhattan, and later, Teaneck, NJ. and Concordia, a retirement community in Monroe, N.J. Since 2011, she resided at the Orchard Cove Continuing Care Community in Canton, MA.

She enjoyed reading, particularly the daily newspaper. She and Harold were generous benefactors of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Jewish Federation.
Besides her children and grandchildren, she is survived by a son-in-law, David Evans of Boston, a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Wyman of Philadelphia, three nephews, two nieces, and seven cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Bernice Yuriditsky.
