Beloved wife of the late John Silva. Loving mother to Wendy S. Norman and husband Scott; Lori G Monaco and husband Peter; and Jody Stevens. Devoted Grammy to six grandchildren, Shelly Kaner, Stephanie Dvorkin and husband Matthew, Britney Smith, Jordan Smith, Evan Smith, and Lindsey Smith. Amazing Gigi to two great-granddaughters Maya and Ava Dvorkin.
Special sister to Estelle Block and Roselyn Holt and her late brothers, George Ramer, Alan Wolfe & David Wolfe. Loved dearly by her many nieces and nephews.
Leaving behind special companion Norman Steury who gave Anne so much joy in the last years of her life.
Anne was the former President of B’nai Brith and co-founder of Capeway Company, a charitable entertainment group that toured throughout Massachusetts.
After working for Mass Glass as an office manager for 25 years, she then pursued real estate at Jack Conway in Canton, MA. Anne and John moved to Greenacres, Florida in 1993 where she managed the office at the Living Word Church for many years. She touched the lives of everyone around her and made countless wonderful friends throughout her time there. She loved living in the Lucerne Homes East Community and the caring neighbors and friends were an integral part of her life.
Anne had an uncanny wit and great sense of humor, and she exemplified the most nurturing and caring ways that touched everyone she met. Anne was a woman of wisdom and had great common sense. If you wanted a frank answer, she was your go-to person. She managed to read the newspaper everyday and enjoyed the daily crossword puzzle and scramblers. Anne loved playing scrabble with her family, and was a lover of music, dance, and theatre. Her biggest passion was singing and performing. She took great pride in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved being a Grammy and Gigi more than anything. Family was truly everything to her.
Anne and her family were fortunate to have amazing caregivers during the last three years of her life. A huge thank you to angels Jessie and Florence from Nursing Services of Palm Beach County and Ana “Maria” from Abbott Home Health Care of Avon, MA. We were also supported by the incredible hospice staff and nurses from Trustbridge Hospice Care of Palm Beach County & Old Colony Hospice of West Bridgewater, MA.
