Barbara Ann Levine

Barbara Ann (Hoffman) Levine of North Easton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 82 years of age. Daughter of the late Lillian (Weinstein) and Louis Hoffman. Loving wife of the late Norman Richard Levine. Beloved mother of Rachel Gobin and her husband Kevin of Taunton, Francine Dyer and her husband Paul of East Bridgewater, and Inez Levine of South Easton. Cherished Meme of Lee and Jack Gobin, Emily Dyer, Evan Dyer and Ashley Davis. Great Meme of Carter Dyer. Sister of Susan Caputo and her husband William of Billerica, and Howard Hoffman of Billerica. Sister-in-law to Barbara Hoffman and Eileen Hoffman. Aunt to many loving nieces and nephews.

Barbara was born in Boston on August 2, 1943. She grew up in the town of Chelsea. Barbara was married to Norman for 54 years before his passing. They raised their 3 daughters in South Easton. She retired from Travelers Insurance where she met many cherished friends. She moved to Easton Housing after Norman passed where she enjoyed coffee hour and bingo with many friends. She treasured time with family and their meals at Doyles. Barbara was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 1 PM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.

Shiva will be held at the Dyer’s residence on Wednesday following the burial until 8 PM, and continuing on Thursday, September 4th from 1-8 PM.

Friends and family are encouraged to wear something red in honor of Barbara’s favorite color.
