Bennett Evan Shifman

Bennett Evan Shifman, of Stoughton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at the age of 75. He was the beloved son of the late Burton J. Shifman and the late Helena Nancy Shifman.

Bennett was the loving husband of Rhonda R. Shifman, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Rachel Weatherbee and her husband Shawn of Brockton, and Robert Shifman and his wife Nicole of Bridgewater. He was a proud and loving Papa to Austin, Chase, Madison, and Charlotte, who brought him immense joy.

He was the dear brother of Evlyn and her husband Gordon Schultz of New Seabury, brother-in-law of Phyllis Gerome of Foxboro, and a loving uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Bennett was a graduate of Newton North High School, earned his undergraduate degree from UMass Lowell, and later received his MBA from Babson College. A highly respected Certified Public Accountant, he owned and operated Bennett E. Shifman, CPA, for over 30 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, an active member of the Tax Round Table, and proudly served as its President.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on December 30, 2025, at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA. following interment at Shara Tfilo Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA.

Family will be receiving for shiva following the service through the evening Tuesday at the home of Rhonda and Bennett Shifman.
