Beverly R Sherman

SHERMAN, Beverly R. (Smith) Of Brockton, formerly of Stoughton, died February 15, 2018, with her loving family by her side. Beverly grew up in Stoughton, where she graduated from Stoughton High in 1978. She was a nursing graduate of Northeastern University in 1983. Beverly worked for 36 years as a registered nurse at both the Goddard Hospital in Stoughton and Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. She enjoyed reading, long walks with her dog, vacationing with friends, helping others, and most importantly spending time with her family. Beverly is the cherished wife of Richard Sherman for over 35 years. Proud mother of Craig and Rebecca Sherman, and dog mom to her beloved Jacoby. Daughter of the late Lawrence Smith and Frances (Weiner) Smith. Sister of Steven Smith and his wife Geri. Beverly is survived by seven nieces and nephews, eight grandnieces and nephews, and countless cousins and other family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend services for Beverly on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 10am at Temple Sinai of Sharon, 25 Canton Street, Sharon, MA, followed by interment at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton, MA. Shiva will be at the Sherman residence on Tuesday following interment through 9pm and continuing Wednesday and Thursday from 12-9pm.
