Daughter of the late Dora (Leibovitz) and Barney Shapiro. Loving wife of the late Dr. Albert M. Aizenstadt. Beloved mother of Michael Aizenstadt and his wife Patricia of Hull, MA and David Aizenstadt and his wife Cari of San Clemente, CA. Cherished grandmother of Kaylee, Matthew, Andrew, Ariel, Taylor and Jared. Great-Grandmother to Patrick, Bodhi, Logan and Gus. Sister of the late Sidney and Thelma Shapiro, Mendel Shapiro, Shirley Shapiro & Leonard and Florence Shapiro.
Claire was born in Lowell, MA on July 17, 1926. She later married Albert Aizenstadt and together they had two sons. Claire raised her family in Weymouth, where she became very active in town civics. She spent her later years in Delray Beach and Naples, Florida.
