

LINDE, David of Easton, MA, aged 90, entered into rest on September 11th 2017. This was very significant as he served in the United States Army during World War II, liberating his great uncle Philip out of one of the camps. He was predeceased by his beloved parents Teresa and Ben Linde.
Beloved husband of Anne Marcia (Harris) Linde. Devoted father of Michael Linde of Florida, Mark and his wife Teri Linde of Brockton, MA and Gregg and his wife Mary Beth of Norfolk, MA. Cherished grandfather of Steven Linde and his wife Yamit, and Benjamin, Philip, William and Marion Linde. He was about to become a great-grandfather. His family would like to thank his caretakers, Milli Lesperance, Wendy Washburn, Kourtney Washburn and Janise Hedges, who lovingly cared for him.
David gave a lifetime of public service as a civil servant having attained the position of Director of Parole Services for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He was an adjunct faculty member of both Stonehill College and Massasoit Community College for almost two decades. He was born in Havana, Cuba and was a very proud American after his naturalization. He was a member of the Easton Lions Club and had been a member and past president of the American Corrections Association.
Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA on Friday, September 15th 2017 at 10:00 AM followed by burial at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA.
A celebration of David’s life will take place at The Martin Institute at Stonehill College, 320 Washington Street, North Easton, MA following burial.
