Drew N. Wollman

Drew N. Wollman of Sharon, formerly of Bronx, New York, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Linda (Sugarman) Wollman, for 59 years. Devoted father of Pamela Florence and her husband Mark of Newton, MA, Elyse Simon and her partner Abel Perdigao of Somerset, MA, and Michael Wollman and his wife Amanda of San Francisco, CA. Cherished grandfather of Ethan Simon, Lucas Florence, Jacob Florence, Eliana Wollman and Caleb Wollman. Loving brother of Roberta Kaiser and her husband Marcio of Boca Raton, FL.

Drew grew up in the Bronx, where his sharp mind earned him a place at the prestigious Bronx High School of Science. He was the first in his family to attend college, graduating from Tulane University.

In the summer of 1964, Drew met the love of his life, Linda, while working in the Catskills. They married and built a life filled with love and adventure, raising three children. After 20 years in Eastchester, NY, Drew and Linda spent the next 40 years embraced by the warmth of their Sharon, MA, community.

A true go-getter, Drew pursued a variety of careers, always driven to make life interesting and fun for his family. Though he often called himself a “city boy,” he cherished his outdoorsy life in Sharon. He delighted in summers spent sailing, walking to the beach, and enjoying breakfast on the deck.

Drew also had a passion for road trips, whether exploring Ogunquit, ME, Cape Cod, MA, Niagara Falls, NY, or venturing cross-country and down to Florida.

Those who knew Drew will remember his kind heart, boundless curiosity, and infectious sense of humor. He was a dynamo with an extraordinary gift for connecting with people and spreading joy wherever he went.

Graveside services for Drew will take place at 10:45 AM on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA. Immediately following services, relatives and friends are invited to gather at the family home until 4:30 PM.
