Eleanor (Garr) Lesser

She was the daughter of the late Ida and Irving Garr, raised in Malden, MA. She was the beloved wife for 56 years of the late Henry Lesser, and sister to Burton Garr and his wife Lucille of Eagan, Minnesota. Ellie spent the early years of their marriage raising three children, and was a loving mother of Steven and his wife Pam, Susan and her husband Michael, Marc and his wife Sarit. She was a doting grandmother of Daniel, Sophia, Anna, Rachel and her husband Joe, Josh and his fiancee Jenna, Benjamin and David. She also left behind a team of wonderful caretakers who were like family to Ellie for the last 7 years.

Ellie lived in Malden, then Mattapan with Henry before they settled in Randolph. Ellie was an active member of Hadassah and Temple Beth Am, Randolph, regularly volunteering her time at fundraising events. Her greatest joys in life were raising her family, spending quality time with her parents and mother-in-law, and being a loyal friend. Ellie and Henry loved the beach and the ocean, spending time over a 30 year period in St. Martin and then in Brewster, MA in their later years. Ellie was loved by all.
