George B Ellis, of Stoughton, MA, formerly of Boston, MA, passed away on October 24, 2015. George was born on March 21, 1919 in Randolph, ME. He was the much beloved husband of the late Jennie (Fleischman) Ellis and the devoted father of Mark Ellis and his wife Mary Jo of Wayzata, MN. George was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard M. and Stanley Ellis. George is survived by many nieces and nephews, who meant so much to him and contributed greatly to his happiness. He had a generous heart, a loving spirit and endless regard for family; he loved his Patriots, his Red Sox and all things golf. George was a veteran of WWII and he loved puttering around in his yard. We will miss him. Services at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 475 Washington St., Canton, MA, 02021 on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 12 p.m. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Eastern MA, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
