Gloria Kogos Perno

Daughter of the late Rose (Tobin) and Samuel Kogos. Loving wife of the late Roger Perno. Beloved mother of Sherry Goldberg-Bond and her husband David of Plymouth, and Mark Goldberg and his wife Joanna of Atlanta, GA. Sister of late Arthur Kogos and his wife Patricia and dear aunt to Scott Kogos and his wife Jamie and their daughter Eliza of Mahwah, NJ. Stepmother of Roger Perno and his wife Patty of Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Spada of Rocky Hill, CT and Michael Perno of Berlin, CT. Great-grandmother of Anthony and Gianna Spada.

Gloria was born in Boston, MA on December 10, 1930 and resided in the West End until moving to Mattapan. She was always proud of her origins in the West End of Boston and her schooling at the Girls Latin Academy. Family was always first in her life. She was independently minded, smart and loving. In addition to raising her family, she ran 2 successful businesses. She loved traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family. Always upbeat and fiercely protective of the people she loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 11:45 AM at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA. Shiva will take place immediately following the burial at the home of Robert and Fran Goldberg.
