Jeffrey Dana Margolin of Mansfield, formerly of Brookline, entered into rest on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the age of 63.
Born in Framingham, MA, he was the loving son of the late Rita Margolin. Jeffrey leaves behind his beloved wife, Denise (Anderson) Margolin. He was the devoted father of the late Benjamin J. Margolin. Dear stepfather of Kristin Taddeo & her husband Benjamin, and the late Corey Shea. Loving brother of Deborah Labarge, and Cheryl Cummings and her husband Greg. Cherished grandfather of Hunter Bennet Taddeo. Jeffrey also leaves behind his nephew and niece, Matthew and Melyssa, and in-laws Scott and Lynda Anderson.
Jeffrey had a strong love for traveling, especially with his beloved wife Denise by his side. As a hardworking business owner in the automotive industry, he was truly passionate about his work. Along with his career, Jeffrey loved the simple things in life: NASCAR, a nice home cooked dinner, and of course – the 10’oclock news. Above all, Jeffrey loved nothing more than spending time with close friends and family. He will be truly missed.

I met Jeff in 2008 when Corey passed away. Immediately, you can tell what kind of kind, warm hearted, welcoming person Jeff was, despite the tremendous loss suffered at the time. Jeff was so nice, he cared, he didn’t have a negative or mean bone in his body. We kept in touch as people do-from time to time-as life gets in the way sometimes. I regret not talking to him more. Jeff reached out and we talked about Camaros and NASCAR and how bad he wanted a Camaro. We talked about them for a while! He was always a pleasure and a joy to converse with, and I’m honored to know such a wonderful man. Denise, I’m always here for you. Jeff-you will forever be missed. Y’all have become family to me, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate having had the opportunity to get to know both of you. Thank you for letting me in your hearts. Jeff, you’ll always be in my heart, thoughts, and prayers. My continuous prayers go out to you, Denise, always. Sending love today and forever ♾♥️. You will surely be missed, Jeff.

The first time I ever met Jeffrey, I thought he was a serial killer. I was walking home from work and he stopped in this beat up car, it was one of his worker’s cars. He stopped and said come here!!!! I had headphones on so I didn’t here him. He said I want to take you out on my boat! I looked at the car and just imagined what that boat would look like. It wasn’t too bad, had a cabin and we went to the harbor and watched the planes coming in at Logan!!!! Thank you for putting up with me for 30 years!!

I have had the pleasure of knowing Jeff since 5th grade at Runkle school and he was definitely a fun guy to hang out with. We rode mini bikes together then motorcycles and when we finally got our licenses we would race down Beacon st. , me in my Cuda and him in his Chevelle. I will miss his monthly phone calls, they were always entertaining. Rest in peace Jeff.

My heart again is in pieces! His outrageous personality drew me to him!! He took me to Aku Aku in kenmore square when we first me. I must of had 9 scorpion bowls. He was worried and didn't want me to drink anymore so he poured to bowls into the fake palm trees around the restaurant !! He was always looking out for me, and if you were his friend he would do the same for you!!!
