Devoted son of the late Irma and Hyman Brown. For 64 years he was the loving husband of Judith E. (Freedman) Brown. Beloved father of Elayne Brown and Rich Feeley of Cumberland, Alan Brown and his wife Laurie Brown of Sharon, Tracy Avratin of Sharon, and Kevin Brown and his wife Jen Brown of Sharon. Cherished grandfather of Jessica Margolin and Brian Cohen, Ashley Carter and Rich Zelman, Craig Margolin, Max Avratin, Amanda Brown, Emma Avratin, Justin Brown, Jake Brown, Ryan Brown, and Chloe Brown. Great-grandfather of Kylie Cohen.
Les was born in Boston on September 16, 1939. He met Judy at Sharon High School where they became high school sweethearts and married in 1960. Les graduated Bentley College in 1961 with an accounting degree. He owned and operated his local CPA practice for over 40 years. He enjoyed bowling, cards, tennis, traveling and coaching youth baseball and basketball, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 10 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
Shiva will be held on Wednesday immediately following the burial at the home of Alan and Laurie Brown until 4 PM and continuing Thursday, March 21st from 4 PM to 8 PM.
