Lillian Dorothy Frye

Dearly beloved wife of the late Simon “Cy” Frye. Devoted mother of Russell Howard Frye of Brookline. Loving sister of Evelyn Morris, the late Estelle Golick, late Bernice “Bunny” Feinberg, and late David Goldman. Dearly beloved aunt to all her nieces and nephews and their children.

A longtime resident of Massachusetts, Lillian also enjoyed spending time and playing canasta in Boca Raton, Florida. She worked in the financial departments of retail, real estate and travel industry businesses. She was always sharp as a tack and could tell stories from her childhood in extraordinary detail. She loved to travel with her husband and her sisters and together they traveled the world including notable visits to Alaska, Europe and many locations within the continental United States.

She was loved by far too many to count, in part because she offered unconditional love to all. Even at the end of her life, she would light up with a brilliant smile every time her sister, nieces, nephews and friends came to visit. She also made the best blintzes in the world.

Services will be private due to COVID restrictions.
