Melvin S. Pearlson

PEARLSON, Dr. Melvin S., Of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Canton, MA. Entered into rest on January 7, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed. He will be remembered as a wonderful dentist and a kind and caring man who always considered other’s needs before his own. He leaves behind his cherished wife of 64 years, Bunny (Libman) Pearlson, his daughters Cindy Bakerman and Ann Shuman and their spouses, Michael and Jim. Grandchildren Daniel, Rachel, Becca, Molly, and Jake, his brother, Dr. Stanley Pearlson and his wife Susanne, and former sister-in-law, Lucile Pearlson Schwartz. He was predeceased by his brothers, the late Dr. Harrison Pearlson and Rabbi Jordan Pearlson. Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Memorial observance will be at the home of Ann and Jim Shuman on Thursday following interment until 4pm and then 7-8:30pm with minyan at 7:30pm, Friday 1-4pm, Saturday 6-8pm with minyan at 7:30pm, and Sunday 1-3pm.
