

He was born in Malden on October 1, 1924. Known as “Sonny,” he loved growing up surrounded by family and friends in Dorchester and Mattapan. Stanley went to Boston English High School, furthered his education at Boston College and Northeastern University, and taught extension courses at M.I.T. He served as a Corporal in the U.S. Air Force teaching about the relatively new field of radar. He had a distinguished career as an engineer at Raytheon and became Director of Operations and founding member of Incoterm where he manufactured the first airport computer terminals used by airlines, including Air France. He continued to be a valued consultant for several technology firms after he “retired.” He had wide and varied interests, including traveling around the world, technology innovation, and riding his motorcycle. But, his deep love for and dedication to his family defined him as a man.
Devoted and beloved husband for 65 years of June (Goodman) Forman. Beloved father of Sherry Litwack and her husband Stephen, and Dr. Michael Forman and his wife Ellen. Proud and loving grandfather of Caroline Jalfin and her husband Asaf, Emily Forman, & Daniel Forman. Loving brother of Selma Nechin.
Graveside services at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 12:45 pm.
Following interment, family will be receiving friends at the home of Sherry Litwack from 5:00-9:00 pm.
