So proud of his accomplishments despite a hearing disability, he received an AA degree at Wentworth Institute and BS from Northeastern University as a Mechanical Engineer. He relocated to Texas to work for NASA and was a certified Teacher. He became a Certified Professional Engineer. An active member of his synagogue, Steve was an avid bridge player and golfer.
Brother of Theodore Lavoot (Terri). Cherished Uncle of Sandi Adina McNiff and Howard Scott Lavoot (Penni). Great-uncle of Heather Rold (Jason) & daughter Zoey. Cherished Cousin of the late David Post (Phyllis), Judy Hirshman(Paul), David Diamond (Diane), late Edward Maltz( Audrey), and the extensive Lavoott Family.
Predeceased by his Parents, Sister Diane Lavoot, and Brother Samuel Lavoot and Cousins Harvey Maltz and Phyllis Karen.
