Al was born in Canton on December 11, 1949 to the late Alfred and Iris (Frease) Moor, Sr. Al was a graduate of the 1967 class of Hoover High School. He went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Stark State University. He worked as an Operating Engineer for 25 years for Ken Moore Construction until he retired in 2009. Al was an avid collector of coins, zippo lighters, and arrowheads. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was especially proud of his garden.
Al is survived by two sons, Ken (Victoria) Moor and Andrew (Alessandra) Moor, one grandson, Francisco Moor, two sisters, Ginger (Kathy) Martin and Dixie Moor, one brother, Leslie (Barbara) Moor, his ex-wife, Tina McFarland, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Al will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:000 p.m. All visitors are asked to wear facemasks and follow social distancing guidelines. Per Al’s wishes, a cremation will then take place.
