

Ann graduated from McKinley High School in 1947 and started secretarial work with the Hoover Company. She met her husband Jim Clayton and became a full time homemaker. She was active in Sunday school, Brownies, and YMCA swim team parents. She loved BranHaven and sitting by the pool with friends or playing tennis. Her yard was a joy to her and she received commendation from the mayor of North Canton for its beauty. Later in life she moved to Toledo, Ohio where she made many new and dear friends.
The family wishes to thank the staffs of the Woodlands and Sunset House for all of the love and care they gave during her long battle with Alzheimer's. A special thanks to her friend Miss Betty, who cared for her daily.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Gibbs (Jeff); grandson Benjamin; granddaughter Megan: and sister Susan K. Marchand; along with many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home with Rev. Eli Klingensmith officiating. Interment will be in North Canton Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8pm on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to The TOLEDO Humane Society or The Alzheimer's Association.
