My deepest sympathies to Beatrice’s family and friends. I knew Bea from growing up in church together. We laughed too much at the wrong times! I haven’t seen her for over 30 years and was happy to reconnect via social media. She will be greatly missed but remembered well. Rest In Peace, my friend.

Beatrice was such a special person. I worked with her at BFGoodrich Aerospace in the late 90's. She was always a bright light as you entered the office building. We have stayed in touch through all of these years, even if it was just a text here and there. She will be greatly missed on this earth, but so grateful that she is now with Jesus and living an amazing eternal life. Such a comfort that we will see her again.

Beatrice and I worked together at FedEx. She always had a smile on her face, and she always entertained and matched my silliness while we worked through issues at work. Her laughter was infectious, and she was always just so kind. Our hearts are broken at the passing of Beatrice. She will be greatly missed by her FedEx Family. I'll always remember her for her gentle heart, kind soul, infectious smile and laughter and love for her Friends, Family, and Life. My deepest condolences go out to her family as they navigate through this difficult time. <3

I worked with Beatrice at FedEx she was always smiling and willing to help me with any issues I had. We would email back and forth she always would tell me, " you are always so helpful" and in my mind I would say, " ME? you are always helping me". My thoughts and prayers go out to her entire family during this very difficult time. Rest in heavenly peace dear friend you will be sadly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you who loved and cared for Beatrice. It is always hard to say our last earthly "good-byes" to those we love and hold dear to our hearts. But we know that for those who love the Lord and pass are now in the presence of our Heavenly Father and are worshiping at the feet of Jesus. Oh what joy must fill the hearts of those gone before. Home at last. May our heavenly Father give you strength for each new day until the sad clouds of grief roll away. In Jesus Love,

Wow, where do you start with such a dynamic person and a soul taken way to soon. Beatrice and I worked together at Fedex. That was how we met but our relationship and friendship went way so much deeper than that. She was my crafting buddy and deal shopper. I knew I could always call her and ask her what she thought and she would tell me. She would also tell me, DAWN do you know what you are taking on....LOL God knew I needed a true, light hearted, sweet to the core person in my life. It still seems like we are in the twilight zone and she is going to pop on and say fooled you all and laugh her sweet giggle. I remember sending emails that were funny at times, waiting for her giggle. Beatrice loved her family and that wasn't just her blood family. If you were a friend to her, you were family. Beatrice lived a testimony true to her beliefs and I have always looked up to her for that and respected her for those beliefs. God bless you Beatrice. You are now living what you always had faith in and we are left to miss you until we see each other again. Many people ask what impact can you leave on the world. Beatrice truly left a mark on this world and a small light is out in my heart.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Beatrice. I never met her in person, but she and I would discuss work over instant messenger. She was so fun to talk to and joke with, and could make a bad day bright. I hope that her family can find peace and healing in this difficult time.

Biografía

Beatrice Louise Holland was an expressive, optimistic, and uninhibited individual. To everyone around her, she seemed to be eternally happy, and she willingly shared that joy with anyone whose life she touched. For Beatrice, bringing out the best in any situation was as easy as offering a smile, a witty remark or the twinkle of an eye. And with just those simple gestures, she could evoke the most pleasant of emotions. Beatrice really mastered the art of living and had great fun in doing so.
Sandy Holland gave birth to Beatrice on August 19, 1970 at Akron General Hospital in Akron, Ohio. Beatrice and her sister, Sandra Holland, were raised in Green, Ohio. Even as a child, Beatrice had the ability to lift the spirits of all those around her. She was raised to be warm, caring and friendly. She couldn’t help but capture everyone’s attention with her infectious smile and amazing giggle. Beatrice would laugh until she cried, then snorted and she succeeded in entertaining her entire family.
Always a good playmate, Beatrice was easygoing and fun loving. She managed to lighten the mood wherever she was, even during family squabbles. She seemed to have a knack for bringing compromise and erasing tense situations around the house. Due to a generous dose of common sense, Beatrice managed to find a satisfying solution to basic problems.
All of Beatrice's playful good humor carried over into her childhood. She was possessed with an outgoing personality, a lively imagination and a mellowed enthusiasm for life that allowed her to be constantly on the go. In her spare time, she liked crafts and sewing. She also liked to swim, roller-skate and ride her bike.
Ask anyone who knew her from school and they would tell you that Beatrice enjoyed others’ laughter and the sounds of her friends and acquaintances having a good time. It could be said that for Beatrice, grades may not have been the most important thing to her, but she really did enjoy her school experience. Since experience was Beatrice's best teacher, she enjoyed hands-on learning and applying the “practical” approach to knowledge, rather than getting caught up in “theory.” Beatrice participated in Girls of Green in High School. She graduated from Green High/Joint Vocational School in 1988.
Beatrice never actually encountered a stranger in her dealings with people. She was drawn to individuals and crowds using her gregarious, adaptable and outgoing personality to captivate her audience. This quality allowed Beatrice to continually develop new relationships, ever widening her circle of friends. Beatrice delighted in her role among all her acquaintances, because she genuinely cared for people. Whether it was a story, a joke, a song or just plain fooling around Beatrice loved making people smile. Beatrice utilized her interest in others as a great way to connect with them. While growing up, some of her best friends were her sister, Sandra, her cousins, Christy, Teresa and Leilani and friends Cindy, Brenda, Beth and Diana. Later in life, she became friends with Carla, Lori, Erin, Ellen, Desi and so many others. She loved spending time and doing things with them. Beatrice loved sharing life with those she loved.
At work, as in life, Beatrice was a real “people person.” She had a very successful way of dealing effectively with others, and her enthusiasm and energy was often contagious. Beatrice liked to see herself as something of a virtuoso. When dealing with various projects and problems, Beatrice was an adaptable realist, using her common sense and trusting her experiences and impulses to uncover the correct answer. Beatrice's talent for being a down to earth thinker, allowed many around her to see Beatrice as an excellent problem solver. Her primary occupation was Disbursement Coordinator II at FedEx Custom Critical where she worked for almost 20 years. Prior to that she worked for BF Goodrich De-Icing Systems.
Beatrice enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. An “arts and crafts” type, Beatrice liked creating and making things. She loved working with her Cricut. She used her Cricut to create shirts, signs, cups, etc as well as other items such as 3D flowers. She made many items for family and friends. She also enjoyed jewelry making and was amazing at it. Beatrice was very crafty and could do anything well. Beatrice was content to enjoy her hobbies alone but was also willing to share her interests with others. Beatrice’s favorite hobby, though, was spending time with her nephew, Jason. They enjoyed many activities together including watching movies.
Vested with a deep concern for spiritual development, Beatrice recognized that her relationship with Jesus was very important to her throughout her life. Beatrice grew up going to Akron Springfield Assembly of God and was recently attending Passion Church in Akron.
It is no surprise that she loved to travel and to visit new and different places. Her favorite vacations included going on a Caribbean cruise with her cousin Teresa and going to Stone Harbor and Hershey, PA with friends.
Beatrice passed away on July 24, 2020 at her home in Akron, Ohio. She had a heart attack. She is survived by her mother, Sandy Holland, her sister, Sandra Holland, her nephew, Jason Hanlon, as well as her aunts, Nicky Heckel and Shirley Shaffer, her uncles, Bob (Wendy) Shaffer, Dennis (Bobbi) Shaffer and Frank Heckel (Jerilynn Ferguson), her cousins, Mike (Sandy) Shaffer, Christy Heckel (Craig Hart), Teresa (Gary) Lindsey, and Leilani Shaffer (Tommy) and her second cousins, Jeremy, Kai, Mia, Hunter, Zachary, Reyanne and Nicholas. Beatrice was cremated and her ashes remain with her family. A Celebration of Life was held on August 22, 2020.
Beatrice brought joy to all of those around her. She loved to have a good time and was an eternal optimist, always looking on the bright side of things. She loved to share her energy, wit, and her zest for all of her activities with her friends and family. Beatrice Louise Holland lived life to its fullest and made everyone around her happier just for knowing her. She will be remembered with a smile.
