Dorothy Louise Corbett

She was born August 4, 1924, in Canton, Ohio, to the late Carl and Margaret (Solomon) Nehlen. Dot attended Lincoln High School. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, at family gatherings at Atwood Lake, Springwood Lake, and Lake Cable.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Corbett; sisters, Jane Killian and Carol McPherson; and brother, Carl Nehlen. She is survived by her children, Edward Corbett, Jr., James Corbett, Cindy (Corbett) Klempay, and Kathy (Corbett) Kintz; eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; sister, Carolyn Waseity; and brother, Don Nehlen.

A Catholic funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 3430 St. Michael Blvd. NW, Canton. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 10-11am Tuesday, one hour before services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements under the direction of Karlo-Libby Funeral Home.
