Elias Carter Dietrich

Elias Carter Dietrich, age 9, of Canton, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on December 4, 2015, in Akron, Ohio to his mother, Miranda Dietrich. Elias was a beacon of joy, creativity, and curiosity.

Elias was a proud 2nd grader at Lake Cable Elementary in Jackson Township where he adored his teachers, nurse Renee, and the lunch ladies who all became his school family.

Elias’s imagination knew no bounds when he filled sketch books with his beautiful paintings, drawings, and even teaching himself to sew. When he wasn’t drawing or creating, he was camping under the stars, or fishing with loved ones, and cheering on his hero big brother Bentley at his sporting events.

Elias’s playful spirit and bright smile left an indelible mark on all that knew him. He is survived by his mom Miranda Dietrich, the best Bubbies in the world Bentley Dietrich, Meme and Pop Pop Michelle and Steven Walker, Grandma Kathy Kathleen (Melvin) Conner, Papa G Brent Dietrich, Aunt She-She Mercedes Slider, Uncle Aaron Dietrich, and Aunt Cambrynn Dietrich, cousin Khalid Dietrich, very special friends Gracie Dietrich (cousin), Abby (Abs) Brown (best friend), Daisy Clary and The Neighbors, we can’t forget his beloved Furr family his daughter Pumpkin “LILO” Dietrich, Uncle Nick “Chubb” Walker, cousin Bowie Slider and many other friends and family.

Proceeded in death by his Grandma Bonnie (Joe) Dietrich, Uncle Judd Dietrich, and his Pops Mike (Debbie) Walker

A celebration of life will be held at the Reserve at Stone Creek on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 pm.
