

Glen E. Miller, age 93, passed away in Concord, California on January 22, 2015. He was born in Greentown , Ohio on June 19, 1921 to Russell and Goldie (Wymer) Miller. Glen served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater. After the war, Glen went on to be the Fire Chief for the Hoover Company. He also was member of Zion United Church of Christ in North Canton and coached many youth sports. Glen and his wife, Nellie, were long standing supporters of Hoover High School.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie M. Miller, his parents, and brother, Richard Miller. Glen is survived by his son, Glen L. (Peggy) Miller; daughter, Deborah (Fred) Garcia; grandchildren, Mollie (Nate) Parker, Kyle, Emily, and Bethany Miller, Ashley (John) Newberry, and Nina Garcia; great-grandchildren, Kailee, Aiden, and Layla Newberry; sisters, Bernice Yoder, Katie Maag, Jane Brown, and Carol Kobie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Eli Klingensmith conducting the service. Entombment with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
